Killzone 3 and LittleBigPlanet 2 Goodies

If you were expecting free shirts, or some kind of giveaway, you will be sorely disappointed with this post. Okay, the title is misleading, but it drew you in did it not?

Anywho, I am posting some new gameplay from LittleBigPlanet 2 and a nice little interview from Killzone 3. I am a proud Playstation 3 owner and will be periodically covering any news, trailers, or gameplay that is released for these two games.

Everything in both titles is looking great so far, especially LittleBigPlanet 2--who doesn't love freedom with creation and such? I am highly anticipating the upcoming Fall and holiday season with these titles and a few others coming out around then.

Before I show you the videos I would like to point out that I am not completely biased with the Playstation 3, I fully support the Xbox 360 (actually owned one for 2 years) and plan on picking one up around the release of Halo: Reach (posts will be made about Halo as well).

Enough chit-chat, enjoy the videos:

Effective Online Money Making Tip

Before I get to far into this post, I just want to point out that you are not going to sit here and makes thousands of dollars from this method. Depending on the effort you put into everything, you could make a few hundred dollars fairly quick, or over a period of time.

So, let's get things started. The name of the site is Rewards1, and it provides a variety of ways to make money--or if you prefer gift cards, you can get a gift card to just about any site online that you can think of. It will take a little bit of work to get on your feet and start earning your cash/points. Don't worry though, once you get going things get a lot easier, and the points come along a little more smoothly.

With sites like this (i.e. making money online; freebies; etc.) the first word that pops into everyone's head--I was the same way at first--is SCAM. Take this as you will, but I have been using this site for about two years now, and I have never had any problems with my personal information being stolen. I have never had any fees/charges sent to my house (make sure you read the terms and agreements with each offer so you can avoid any possible charges). So, just by personal experience, I can say everything is safe and sound.

What I am going to provide you now is tips on how to get started with earning your cash/points; gaining referrals; testimonials for people who have earned prizes; and the FAQS page for any other questions you may have.

There are 4 types of offers you can complete:
  1. Free: No credit card is required, you just complete the offer and you are done. The free offers are the best way to go, in my opinion, because there is not cost, no credit card info is needed, there are a lot of them to complete, and new free offers come out every week/month.
  2. Credit Card (Free): These offers require a credit card number, but usually do not charge you anything (read the terms and agreements to be sure). Everything is usually a trial offer you sign up for, and eventually just cancel once your cash/points are credited.
  3. Credit Card (Pay): Here you have to provide your credit card number, and do have to pay for something in order to get your cash/points. Some of these offers do not cost that much, but reward you with a lot of points, so do not look completely past them.
  4. Cellphone: These offers require your cellphone number, and a text is sent to your phone. A lot of these offers have fees that will charge, so read the terms and agreements to make sure if it is free or not.
A few things to remember:
  1. Create a spam email account (mainly for the free surveys and offers) because you will receive a lot of junk mail. Every now and then a survey will have you confirm an email in order to earn your points, but once you do confirm it you can ignore whatever else you receive from that site.
  2. For the free offers do not be picky with what you complete (i.e. - if you see a survey about lip gloss, don't ignore it because of the product just complete it and you have your points). Some offers may not always work, so you may have to do some of them again.
  3. After each survey and offer completed make sure you clear all of your cookies, and this will almost guarantee that you get your points.
  4. When you do complete offers (according to the site) you have to provide accurate information to be credited the cash/points.
You are going to think that points are the only thing you can earn through the offers, but that is not correct my friend. Through the account link, you can click on Buy R1 Cash and convert however many points you have to cash. Everything can be sent to your Paypal account without any problems.

Now, to the most effective way to gain even more points outside of the offers.....referrals. You are given a personal ID number to provide people to gain your referrals. Let's say you refer a friend to the site; they earn 20 points from offers; from those points they earned, 20% of that number (20 points, for example, would get you 4 points) goes into your account. They keep all of their points and you gain at the same time. It's a win-win situation.

Basic referral tips:
  1. Make a video (Youtube, Dailymotion, etc.) and talk about the site. If you have a screen recorder, you can record what the site looks like and give people a good taste of how everything looks and feels.
  2. Tell as many of your friends as possible. Friends will trust what you have to say, and once you show them that everything is not a scam, you have a lot of points coming your way.
  3. You can create a free Web site (Yola is a good place to create a basic, free Web site) and promote it. Provide information on the site; pictures of prizes and such that you, and others, have received; etc.
So that is the jist of how everything works. If you have any remaining questions check out the FAQS page for all your answers (you have to sign up to view the FAQS page). If you want to see further proof that the site is legit, visit the testimonials for pictures and reviews from some of the members.

If you are liking what you see, and want to give it a shot, Sign Up Here and be on your way to some cash or prizes.

Do You Do The Dofollow?

Just a matter of a few weeks ago I began to learn and understand the whole dofollow movement with blogging. According to Verticalmeasures:

A “no follow” link gives Google and other major search engines specific instructions. When a “no follow” code is part of a link, the theory goes that Google will NOT follow the link to the other page and it will NOT include the link when calculating Page Rank for your web page.

So, with dofollow you get the opposite effect. The search engines will now follow your links, and this in return provides people a little more comfort/incentive to comment within your posts. This also means that more spam comments will begin to appear, but with a little moderation, the spam should not be a huge issue.

Changing your Blogger blog to dofollow is a simple process, and I will give you Milliongoodways to do all of the explaining--I would, but I am in a lazy mood and do not feel like typing up the instructions...sue me.

Once you have everything set up to your liking, go to Randa Clay and pick out a badge to show the world that you dofollow.

Guess Who's Back?

Alright, I never really left but it has been almost two weeks since I have posted anything. I have been busy of late and let's just say blogging has not been at the top of my list. I will not be posting everyday, just every now and then when I get the time.

I know it is a sad moment in time for about the three or four readers I may have, but cry no longer cause I am kind of back. To make up for any inconvenience I will provide you with a picture of my current girlfriend, and future wife, Mila Kunis. Be easy fellas, she is mine and I will fight for her.

Side note: If no one is able to catch where my title came from, you have been living under a rock your entire life. I will give you a hint: M & M

Happy Independence Day!

If you are looking for an excuse to go outside, throw some burgers and brats on the grill, drink some beer, and just enjoy the day, then July 4th is right up your alley. What other day can you light stuff on fire, cause an explosion, and pretty much get away with it (assuming you stay within reasonable boundaries; pyros, I'm looking at you)?

Please do not blow off any limbs or play any drinking games that involve fireworks. It may seem like a good idea to shoot bottle rockets at a friend or light up an M-1000 Red Devil Firecracker and throw it into the middle of a crowd, but only pain and embarrassment will ensue the next morning (believe me, I know).

Enjoy the day, and stay hydrated with plenty of brews!

Followers of the 2010 World Cup

I personally don't know much about futbol (or soccer if you prefer that), but lately I have watched a few matches and began to understand the rules a little better. At first glance futbol seems slowly paced with a lack of intensity (intense situations are what people tend to hope for), but once you give it a chance you will appreciate the skill and strategy involved. And let me tell you, there have been quite a few matches where I have been on the edge of my seat awaiting the outcome.

I can see another turn-off being the cry baby antics that take place oh so often. I understand helping your team to win the game, but acting like you got punched in the face or stabbed in the back by a knife (I'm over exaggerating of course) is not going to win anyone over,at least not in America.

All of that aside, I encourage those of you who have no interest in futbol to at least give it a shot. I may eventually write an article about hockey as well, because that sport is vastly underrated as well. So, enjoy the rest of the world cup and let me know who you are rooting for.

Get FREE Microsoft Points and Xbox Live Subscriptions

I'm sure there are many of you out there (including me) who love to play your Xbox 360 games online, but do not always seem to have the money for an Xbox Live subscription or Microsoft Points (for new maps, extra content, etc.). If you are in this boat then today is your lucky day because I am going to show you a way to get a FREE Xbox Live account or FREE Microsoft Points for all of your gaming needs.

  1. Go here to PrizeRebel and sign up
  2. Start completing surveys to earn your points (choose between USA free surveys, USA pay (credit card required for purchase -- these pay the best--) offers, and USA cell phone offers). There are also offers for Canada, the UK, and Australia.
  3. Once you have earned enough points for either a 1-month, 3-month, or 12-month subscription to Xbox Live (or if you saved up for 1600, 2100, or 4000 Microsoft Points) you can go to the View Available Prizes section and choose which one you want.
  4. If you end up deciding you do not want an Xbox Live subscription or Microsoft Points you can also custom order just about any prize you want. I would suggest custom ordering an Amazon or Ebay gift card, then find the item you want off either of those sites. Click on Custom Prize Requests to see the form you would fill out.
Tips and techniques for referrals after the jump:

Is M. Night Shyamalan and his Movies Your Cup of Tea?

The title explains it all, do you like M. Night Shyamalamadingdong movies?

With The Last Airbender (aka Avatar: The Last Airbender) releasing yesterday, and just about every critic and viewer review being overwhelmingly negative, the question above must be asked. I have watched the first season and some of the second season for Avatar and it is one of the best anime/animated, whichever you prefer, I have ever seen. I had high hopes for the movie, and will continue to hold judgment until I see it, but my hopes for another good movie from the Shyamdinger is running low.

With movies like The Sixth Sense, Unbreakable (one of my all time favorite movies), and Signs under his belt you know there is some talent underneath Shyamalan sleeves. You then see the decline in quality with The Village, Lady in the Water, and the Happening and you begin to wonder if the ideas are starting to run a little dry.

I am done rambling, so feel free to light this poll up. At this point I will be surprised if I get more than 20 people to vote.

Classic Youtube Videos (Numa Numa Kid and Charlie: Candy Mountain)

I can't even begin to imagine what Charlie the Unicorn would be like on acid or if I were high (I'm sure there are many of you out there who have experimented with this), but this video still gets me laughing pretty hard while I'm sober. Enjoy it again, and comment on about how many times you think you have watched this now.

Another golden oldy is the Numa Numa kid. I know we all wish we could do something as simple as this and become famous beyond belief, or at least I do.

This is not the original video, which has supposedly been viewed over 700 million times, but rather the version with digitally remastered audio. This has to get you jacked up.

Random and Beyond

Just in case there is anyone who is still following my blog, which I highly doubt because I have not been on here in possibly a year, I am changing things up a bit. Anything that I feel like posting about will appear at random (see what I did there?), and there is nothing anyone can do about it!

Jokes aside, I will post stories, reviews (video games, movies, products, etc.), something I think of, and anything else I so choose. I am not doing this to become a better writer (I am not a good writer, so I am warning you now), I am simply doing this because I enjoy it and I want people to know what sometimes runs through the old noggin.

I welcome all negative and positive comments, because let's face it, I don't know you and some little snide remark over the Internet is not going to ruin my day. So, enjoy/despise what I have to say and let us have some fun.

P.S.  If there is anything you would like me to post, or have any recommendations, feel free to let me know.

P.S.S. If you notice that my next few posts are so close together, I applaud you. If you did not notice I will explain why. I screwed up some things on my older blog and my newer posts (which I have a soft spot for) got messed up, so I am adding them here.
